Happy New Year Skywalkers! We welcome 2017 by taking a step back and revisiting our high points and low points of 2016 fandom with a few podcast friends. What surprised us in 2016? What was a personal highlight? What was the most controversial moment in fandom? First up, Bryan Young (Full Of Sith / Big Shiny Robot) joins us and we get into a discussion on Star Wars podcasters playing nice.

Then Mark Daniel (Star Wars Celebration and Disney Parks stage host) brings some laughs and life to the show, discussing highs and lows at the Disney Parks and his own extraordinary experiences hosting Star Wars Celebration Europe and Disney Parks Blog Live Videos.

Tricia Barr (Fangirls Going Rogue / FANGirl Blog) must now be called a regular! She has been a staple at every one of our year-end retrospectives and this one is no exception. She brings a great fangirl perspective into the mix.

Then Tyler Westhause (Star Wars Podcast Alliance) rounds out our quartet with a millenial’s perspective on Star Wars fandom. He even tries really hard to talk sports on our show!

Of course, Richard and Sarah give their opinions, too. It’s been an interesting year with a bittersweet ending. Onward to 2017!
