Cast aside by Count Dooku, Asajj Ventress returns to her roots with the Nightsisters on Dathomir and begins plotting her revenge against her former Sith master.

When Darth Sidious orders Count Dooku to eliminate Asajj Ventress out of fear that she has become too powerful and might inspire Dooku to betray him, Dooku reluctantly agrees to do so. Unbeknownst to Dooku, the attempt to kill Asajj fails. She finds her way back to her home world of Dathomir, and there she finds her clan, the Nightsisters.
