The Press Panel for Koala Man and Solar Opposites
Thanks to the folks at Hulu and Twentieth Television Animation RetroZap was able to attend the press panel for Koala Man (coming to Hulu in 2023) and Solar Opposites (Season 3 premiered July 13, 2022). Joey from the Animanicast was there to meet the cast and crew of both shows and has audio of the Solar Opposites roundtables.
Koala Man, which premieres on Hulu in 2023 was created by Michael Cusack, who you might recognize from his other show Smiling Friends. The titular character of Koala Man is voiced by Michael Cusack and follows the adventures of an Australian dad turned superhero who not only fends off aliens but even the jerks who refuse to put their rubbish bins away on proper days. Koala Man looks like it should be a very funny series and a great mix of suburban and superhero humor. Plus, Hugh Jackman is in it! After the Koala Man roundtable, the folks working on Solar Opposites sat down to let us know about the third season of the show and to give us some hints of the upcoming fourth season which is currently being recorded. First, Justin Roiland shares answers questions and shares information about Solar Opposites, Koala Man, an upcoming video game and another project which should be coming to Hulu soon. Justin talks at length about how grateful he is to have so many creative people around him that help make all the projects he works on. Then the producers of the show share what they love about the third season of Solar Opposites and what influenced some great moments in the third and even fourth season. Finally, the voice cast talks to us and tells us their favorite moments of the third season and what it was like recording their dialogue for the series.
