John Boyega thought the sequel trilogy would go a different direction, Obi-Wan’s presence, or lack thereof, in Ahsoka, and more feature in this week’s Star Wars news.
As is our weekly tradition, we are rolling into the weekend with a discussion of some recent Star Wars news. Up first, John Boyega thought the sequel trilogy was going to go in a different direction for Finn and Rey. We are discussing his thoughts and how that might have worked. Next, Hermione Corfield takes us behind the scenes by sharing a little about her experience playing Tallie in The Last Jedi. This week started with some confusion about whether Obi-Wan Kenobi would appear in season two of Ahsoka. We are getting to the bottom of that. Also, there is a new trailer for LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy: Pieces of the Past. Finally, Dennis shares some initial thoughts on Sanctuary: A Bad Batch Novel.
In this fully armed and operational episode of Podcast Stardust, we discuss:
- Where John Boyega thought Lucasfilm would take Finn and Rey after The Force Awakens,
- Hermione Corfield’s experience on the set of The Last Jedi,
- Whether or not Ewan McGregor will be playing Obi-Wan Kenobi in season two of Ahsoka,
- The new trailer for LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy: Pieces of the Past, and
- Some initial thoughts on Sanctuary: A Bad Batch Novel.
