Jedi Knight Reath Silas leads a Jedi and Republic team to Kashyyyk to combat a new outbreak of the blight, but they must also contend with the return of the Drengir in this entry of The High Republic.
The war against the Nihil continues, but the Jedi are also faced with another threat. The Blight continues to spread across planets in the galaxy, and thus far, the Jedi have been unable to stop it. Then disaster hits hard when the Blight is discovered on Kashyyyk. In Claudia Gray’s young adult novel, Into the Light, Jedi Knight Reath Silas leads a team of Jedi and other representatives of the Republic to Kashyyyk to investigate the Blight. When they get there, they are faced with an unexpected threat: the Drengir. The plant-like alien species have come to Kashyyyk for reasons even they don’t understand.
