Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi lead a Republic invasion of Geonosis, but the opening stages don’t come easy as they struggle to make it to their staging area in “Landing at Point Rain.”
The last episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars we discussed was a romance and spy story rolled into one. There were no blasters fired, no lightsabers ignited, and no explosions. The next episode of The Clone War is the opposite of that. The Republic must invade Geonosis and shut down new droid foundries established by Poggle the Lesser and the Geonosians. Getting back to the planet and establishing a forward won’t be easy. Generals Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ki-Adi-Mundi, and Anakin Skywalker are given the task. “Landing at Point Rain” details their efforts and the fight all the way to the surface and beyond in an action packed episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
In this fully armed and operational episode of Podcast Stardust, we discuss:
