In the first part of our discussion of Skeleton Crew, we discuss “This Could Be A Real Adventure” and “Way, Way Out Past The Barrier” as we meet the kids, the pirates, and the droids and the start of the adventure.
Star Wars: Skeleton Crew has arrived! The latest Star Wars offering on Disney+ debuted with a two episode premiere. On this episode of Podcast Stardust, we are beginning our discussion of this new series. Although we discuss elements of both episodes, we primarily concentrate on episode one, “This Could Be A Real Adventure.” In addition, we discuss the stars of the show: Wim, Neel, Fern, and KB, the pirates, the tone and setting, and much more. We have a lot to say, and we are just getting started with our coverage of Skeleton Crew.
In this fully armed and operational episode of Podcast Stardust, we discuss:
- Our non-spoiler thoughts from the first two episodes (the first five minutes of the show),
- What we thought of the kids that are the main stars of the show,
- The opening “crawl” of episode one of Skeleton Crew,
- The tone and non-traditional setting of the show,
- Some of our early thoughts about the pirates and who Captain Silvo likely is, and
- The exploration of the “Jedi Temple” turned “starship.”
Thanks for joining us for another episode. Please subscribe wherever you listen to podcasts and spread the word to all of your Star Wars friends. May the Force be with you!
