Jedi Knight Reath Silas navigates competing mentorships while attempting to discover the secrets of the Nameless and the blight while a Child of the Storm hunts Jedi across the galaxy in the latest entry from The High Republic.
Phase three of The High Republic continues with George Mann’s Tears of the Nameless. The Jedi have begun to discover clues and secrets about the Nihil, their pet force-eating monsters, the Nameless, and the mysterious condition causing deterioration to various worlds in the galaxy known as the blight. Jedi Knight Reath Silas leads the Jedi’s investigation into both the effects of the Nameless and the blight. With a little assistance from Padawan Amadeo Azzazzo, he begins to make a breakthrough. Also, Reath has two mentors that are offering him guidance. His former master, Cohmac Vitus, has discovered many of the same secrets Reath has. On the other side, Azlin Rell, a fallen Jedi, encourages Reath to embrace his fear if he is going to survive. All the while, a Jedi hunter pursues Jedi near the Stormwall. Tears of the Nameless is an impressive entry in The High Republic, and we are discussing it on this episode of Podcast Stardust.
