The Gungans take the field against the battle droids, Padmé leads the Naboo against the Viceroy, and Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi duel Darth Maul.
Everything has been leading to this. Padmé’s plan is put into action. The Gungans take the field against the battle droids. The Trade Federation takes the bait and their army is drawn out of the city. With less resistance, Padmé and the Jedi infiltrate the city and begin their assault in the hopes of capturing Viceroy Nute Gunray. However, Darth Maul emerges ans a wild card, and an epic battle begins with Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi. This is the beginning of the climactic battle of the movie and we are breaking it down in this episode of Podcast Stardust.
