The penultimate episode of the first season of The Acolyte returns to the clash between he Jedi and the witches on Brendok 16 years earlier to provide answers ahead of the finale.
Episode seven of The Acolyte, “Choice,” provides viewers with some of the answers about what exactly happened 16 years ago on Brendok that set up the collision course between Mae, Osha, and the Jedi. When Indara leads a team of Jedi on a mission to Brendok to investigate how this planet recovered from a disaster, Jedi Knight Sol makes an unexpected discovery: two young girls talented in the Force. This leads him push for an investigation of them, the coven of witches they belong to, and more on Brendok. However, the investigation is not welcome, and it ends with some dire consequences. These consequences were foreshadowed in episode three, but viewers get a new perspective here. We are discussing what this all means in this episode of Podcast Stardust.
