After some speculation that a novel Jedi weapon would appear in The Acolyte, a new teaser revealed the lightwhip and removed any doubt.
The debut of The Acolyte is getting closer and closer. With the impending release, Lucasfilm has released new teaser trailers to social media, YouTube, and television. One of the latest trailers reveals a unique Jedi weapon that we have been anticipating: Vernestra Rwoh’s lightwhip. We discuss that and these two trailers on this episode of Podcast Stardust. In addition, we have a discussion about Amandla Stenberg’s musical talents, an excerpt from The High Republic: Temptation of the Force, and new entries in the Star Wars Essential Legends Collection.
In this fully armed and operational episode of Podcast Stardust, we discuss:
- Two new teaser trailers for The Acolyte, one of which features Vernestra Rwoh’s lightwhip,
- Other moments from the teaser trailers,
- Amandla Stenberg playing Star Wars music on the violin as arranged by John Williams,
- An excerpt from The High Republic: Temptation of the Force, and
