Marvel is creating an Inquisitors miniseries, Disney+ considers a Star Wars linear channel, the cast of The Acolyte share some details about the show in this week’s Star Wars news.
It’s a relatively quiet week for Star Wars news, so we are taking advantage that by talking about some interviews from Empire magazine and EW concerning The Acolyte. Joonas Suotamo shares some details on performing the Jedi wookiee Kelnacca, and Dafne Keen shares a bit of what Star Wars fans can expect from the lightsaber fights in The Acolyte. Next, we discuss the possibility of a Star Wars linear channel on Disney+. In what is perhaps Jay’s favorite bit of news, Marvel comics have announced a new Inquisitors miniseries coming soon. Finally, we talk a bit about Qi’ra in Star Wars: Outlaws.
In this fully armed and operational episode of Podcast Stardust, we discuss:
- Joonas Suotamo talks about playing Kelnacca in The Acolyte,
- Dafne Keen talks about the goal for the lightsaber fights in The Acolyte,
- Disney+ is eyeing a possible linear Star Wars channel,
- Marvel is creating an Inquisitor miniseries, and
- Ubisoft talks a little bit about Qi’ra in Star Wars: Outlaws.
