Our series focusing on Hondo Ohnaka takes us to Galaxy’s Edge as Hondo is caught up in a heist that involves a Sith artifact and Dok-Ondar.
As we have established in our Hondo Ohnaka series and our “Six Degrees of Hondo Ohnaka” episode, Hondo gets around and has contacts all over the galaxy. In this episode of Podcast Stardust, we discuss how those contacts impact his presence at Black Spire Outpost on Batuu. Most Star Wars fans will recognize Black Spire Outpost as the setting for the Star Wars themed attractions at Disneyland and Walt Disney World. In 2019, Marvel released a five issue miniseries focusing on this land. Hondo makes an appearance, and we are diving into it in this episode.
In this fully armed and operational episode of Podcast Stardust, we discuss:
- How this miniseries from Marvel portrays Black Spire Outpost on Batuu compared to the Disney theme parks,
- Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities,
- Han Solo and Chewbacca’s attempt to acquire a sarlacc,
- Greedo’s failed mission to kidnap an asset of the Banking Clan,
- Kendoh and her crew,
- A mission with Hondo Ohnaka to steal an artifact from the Temple of Kyber on Jedha,
- Doctor Aphra’s mission with Dok-Ondar to acquire a Sith artifact, and
- How Dok-Ondar came out on top at the end.
