A new year brings big Star Wars news with the announcement of The Mandalorian and Grogu coming to theaters and Ahsoka season two in development.
It is the first news episode of Podcast Stardust in 2024, and there are some big announcements to discuss. Lucasfilm started the new year with a bang by announcing a new movie set to go into production this year: The Mandalorian and Grogu. We discuss this new movie and how it fits into the slate of movies previously announced by Lucasfilm at Star Wars Celebration. That’s not all though. Lucasfilm also announced that Dave Filoni is getting to work on season two of Ahsoka. You know we are going to be breaking that down. Finally, we have some clarity on what David Benioff and D.B. Weiss were thinking for their canceled Star Wars movie. We have some thoughts on that as well.
In this fully armed and operational episode of Podcast Stardust, we discuss:
- The announcement of a new Star Wars movie: The Mandalorian and Grogu,
- How this movie fits in with the other announced movies from Star Wars Celebration London,
- The announcement of Ahsoka season two,
- How all of this impacts a fourth season of The Mandalorian, and
- David Benioff and D.B. Weiss (Game of Thrones) on their canceled Star Wars movie.
