We take a look back the years preceding the arrival of The Force Awakens in theaters after Disney purchased Lucasfilm and Star Wars from George Lucas.
It is undeniable that Star Wars is experiencing a different age than what was happening around the franchise ten years ago in the years following Disney’s acquisition of Lucasfilm and the announcement that new Star Wars movies were going into production. Fans are currently waiting for the next Star Wars movie. However, there is a noticeable difference in the anticipation for the next movie compared to the anticipation for The Force Awakens ten years ago.
