We’ve noticed that Hondo Ohnaka knows an awful lot of people in the Star Wars galaxy, and so we have decided to play a little game to see how connected he actually is.
We began our series on Hondo Ohnaka in the later part of 2023. By discussing old episodes of The Clone Wars and thinking of episodes of Rebels he appeared in, we began to notice Hondo really knew a lot of people in the Star Wars galaxy. We then began to wonder how connected Hondo really is. We theorized that there wasn’t anyone that Hondo wasn’t connected to by more than six degrees of separation. You may recognized this as the “Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon” game. In this episode of Podcast Stardust, we set out to test that theory by seeing if we can find anyone that isn’t connected to Hondo by six degrees or less.
In this fully armed and operational episode of Podcast Stardust, we discuss:
- The origin of this idea and how it spawned out of our Hondo Ohnaka series,
- Our theory, that like many characters, Hondo is fairly integrated into the galaxy and a chain could be made between him and any character fairly easy,
- The six degrees, or less, between Hondo Ohnaka, and characters chosen at random, and
- How Hondo would get along with the random characters chosen.
