Ahsoka and the Jedi younglings form an alliance with Hondo and his pirates to escape from Florrum and General Grievous’s droid army.
Our discussion of “The Gathering” story arc from The Clone Wars concludes with a look at “A Necessary Bond.” As usual, we are focusing on Hondo Ohnaka, but we make sure to give Ahsoka and the Jedi younglings their due as well. After two plus episodes as adversaries, Hondo and the Jedi must form an alliance after General Grievous invade Florrum. Once again, Hondo’s fluid ethics come in to play as he encourages the same Jedi he was just hunting for their kyber crystals. We’re discussing Hondo’s bravado, his best lines, and his unlikely affection for one of the young Jedi. Thanks for downloading or streaming this entry in our Hondo Ohnaka series.
In this fully armed and operational episode of Podcast Stardust, we discuss:
- Hondo’s reaction to General Grievous and Cound Dooku after they invade Florrum,
- The alliance formed between Hondo and the Jedi,
- The relationship Hondo forms with the Jedi youngling, Katooni,
- Hondo’s shifting ethics when it comes to the children and the Jedi,
- The secret hangar full of ships that Hondo has on Florrum, and
- The return of the Jedi younglings to Obi-Wan Kenobi.
