Our Ahsoka series comes to an end as we discuss Ahsoka’s capture, trial, and decision to leave the Jedi Order during the finale of season five of The Clone Wars.
Our Ahsoka series comes to an end…the day before Ahsoka premieres on Disney+. Lucasfilm and Disney recently announced that Ahsoka would premiere on Tuesdays and then each new episode would air on a Tuesday night in the past week. In this episode, we discuss two of the most talked about episodes of The Clone Wars as Ahsoka’s flight from the Jedi and the Republic comes to an end with her trial for treason and murder. Anakin Skywlker desperately hunts for the truth while Senator Amidala defends Ahsoka at the trial. The identity of the real killer is discovered just in time. However, none of it is enough to keep Ahsoka in the Jedi Order as series five of The Clone Wars comes to an end.
- In this fully armed and operational episode, we discuss:
- Ahsoka’s unexpected alliance with Asajj Ventress,
- Barriss Offee’s betrayal of Ahsoka and the Jedi Order,
- Anakin’s mission to find the guilty party behind the bombing and the attack,
- Whether Barriss Offee was correct in her accusations against the Jedi Order,
- The Jedi Council’s decision to expel Ahsoka from the Jedi Order,
- The Jedi Council’s offer to reinstate Ahsoka as a Jedi, and
- Ahsoka’s decision to leave the Jedi Order.
