Unlike last year, this year’s Star Wars novel releases feature a single adult novel. However, this book is a good one. We’ll be discussing Inquisitor: Rise of the Red Blade, by Delilah S. Dawson, in this episode of Podcast Stardust. Rise of the Red Blade tells the story of Iskt Akaris, a Jedi of an unknown species that has a hard time fitting into the Jedi ideal. In addition, Iskat is curious about her past, and the Jedi refusal to answer her questions only further alienates her from her Jedi colleagues and drives her to seek answers even more. This is a complicated novel about how a Jedi might decide to join the Inquisitors. Plus, it deals with a number of other difficult topics.
