Ahsoka learns lessons in leadership and following orders when commanding Republic and Clone forces in a mission to save the Twi’leks in “Storm Over Ryloth.”
We continue our series looking at Ahsoka Tano from The Clone Wars ahead of the debut of Ahsoka on Disney+ later this month. In this episode, we discuss Ahsoka’s first command. When she is tasked with leading a squadron of clones against a Separatist blockade, Ahsoka’s failure to timely follow orders leads to a disaster. She doesn’t get much time to dwell on her mistake before Anakin Skywalker puts her in charge of another attempt to break the blockade. Ahsoka has to put her insecurity and lack of confidence aside quickly. Anakin, the Republic, and all the Twi’leks are counting on her.
