New tie-in books were announced for the Jedi video games, Andor gets a new clip released, and Obi-Wan Kenobi gets a “making of” documentary.
It is time for our weekly look at Star Wars news. In what is not a big surprise, Obi-Wan Kenobi is getting a “making of” documentary to be released on Disney+ Day. We discuss what we would like to see in the way of behind the scenes material. Andor is almost here, and Tony Gilroy explains why the show shrunk from five seasons to two seasons. Also, there is a new clip from Andor to build our appetite ahead of the September 21 debut of the series. Finally, the Jedi video games get some new tie-in books. As Jedi: Fallen Order fans, we are very excited.
In this fully armed and operational episode of Podcast Stardust, we discuss:
- The announcement of Obi-Wan Kenobi: A Jedi Returns and our wish list items for the documentary,
- Tony Gilroy’s explanation as to why there won’t be five seasons of Andor,
- A new clip for Andor featuring Cassian Andor and Luthen Rael, and
- The announcement of Jedi: Battle Scars and The Art of Star Wars: Jedi Survivor.
