This week’s Star Wars news features an excerpt from Beth Revis’s The Princess and the Scoundrel and a new order for watching the Star Wars movies.
Every now and then the issue of what order should you introduce the Star Movies to someone that has never seen them comes up. Unlike many franchises, Star Wars has at least a couple serious considerations to take into account when answering that question. Do you show them in the order they were released and start with Episode IV: A New Hope? Or, is it preferable to start in chronological order and start with Episode I: The Phantom Menace? What about the “Machete Order”? There are a lot of ways one could go with this. Anthony Breznican has a new idea for viewing Star Wars, and he calls it the “Rey Order.” On this episode of Podcast Stardust, we break down the “Rey Order” and discuss how we might introduce Star Wars to someone that has never seen the films while we cover the week’s Star Wars news.
