Kevin Feige’s Star Wars project gets a writer, The Mandalorian wins an award, and there is news about the future of Star Wars gaming.
When the Walt Disney Co. held their investor’s day event, they announced a new Star Wars movie coming from Patty Jenkins and mentioned Taika Waititi’s continuing work on a Star Wars movie of his own. However, they did not mention anything about Kevin Feige’s previously announced Star Wars project. This week, we received news, or a rumor depending on your point of view, about a writer for Feige’s project. In addition, Lucasfilm announced the return of Lucasfilm Games. We discuss our impression of what all this means on today’s episode.
On this fully armed and operational episode, we discuss:
-
- The rumor or news of a writer for Kevin Feige’s Star Wars project,
- The Mandalorian wins a Critics Choice Super Award,
- Our thoughts on The High Republic releases so far,
- The return of Lucasfilm Games, and
- The announcement of an open world Star Wars game being developed by Ubisoft.
