Allen Voivod returns to the show to discuss his book on the theme of hope throughout the Star Wars films.
Hope has a powerful presence in Star Wars. The first ever Star Wars movie bore the subtitle: “A New Hope.” The last line from Rogue One, is Princess Leia informing a crew member that Rogue One brought them “hope.” It is a concept that we are all familiar with, but it isn’t always straightforward on what it is or how it impacts the movies. To examine the answer this question, Allen Voivod has written Hyperspacing Hope.
