This week’s news is a varied bunch of topics. Up first, Empire‘s May 12, 2026 edition will feature The Mandalorian and Grogu, and we are taking a look at the sneak peak on Empire’s website. Next, Ryan Gosling chose Star Wars has his first franchise film for a reason. We discuss what that reason was and what, if anything, his choice says about his role in the upcoming film. Although we aren’t getting season two of The Acolyte, Leslye Headland had ideas of what would happen in that season. Her comments on Yoda are thought provoking. Finally, don’t expect to see Boba Fett on screen anytime soon. Temeura Morrison will let you know why.
