In desperation, Oliver asks Anatoly for help in locating him. It looks like his Russian friend has really joined the heroes, because he puts his life in danger by giving them all he knows. But Diaz knows that Anatoly has betrayed him and he sets a trap that almost gets Samanda Watson and Rene blown up. They escape with their lives, but Diaz holds Laurel as collateral against Quentin. He threatens to kill her if the Mayor doesn’t get the FBI out of the city. Quentin will do anything to save his daughter, despite her true nature. He leads Oliver’s team to Diaz, but gets shot in the process. The good guys finally achieve the upper hand, but you never want to be hasty to claim victory. And even though it appears as if they have taken back the city, there are heavy prices to pay for it.
