Show Notes
“At last! Beyond The Movie! Beyond the Galaxy!” reads the cover of each issue of the Marvel Star Wars comics from 1977 and beyond. Richard, Sarah and Star Wars artist Randy Martinez dive into these classic Marvel Star Wars comics from the 1970s and 1980s.
In this episode we look at Star Wars #10: ’Behemoth From The World Below!’ A Behemoth ravages the town, characters die rather gruesomely, Jaxxon has a moment, and we get to see something miraculous happen before it really happens in The Empire Strikes Back. What could it be??
But first, Randy Martinez remembers Kenny Baker (R2-D2) with a great story about that time he spent an evening over at Kenny Baker’s house. It’s true. All of it.
Let’s dive in to this issue.
