Maul arrives on Janix looking for revenge on those that profited from his misfortune and finds a potential new apprentice in the first two episodes of Maul – Shadow Lord.
Maul is back and he is not happy. Following the events of The Clone Wars and the comic Son of Dathomir, Maul is out to get revenge on those that profited from his demise when Darth Sidious and the Empire took down his Shadow Collective. To that end, he brings his thirst for vengeance to the planet of Janix and some rival criminal syndicates. To his surprise, he finds a potential apprentice in Jedi padawan Devon Izara. Meanwhile, the planet’s police force begins to look into the violence sowed by Maul’s arrival, and Captain Brander Lawson leads their investigation. We’ve been looking forward to Maul – Shadow Lord since it was announced at Star Wars Celebration Japan last year, and we are excited to discuss the first to episodes in this edition of Podcast Stardust.
