The Son shows Anakin a vision of his Force that nearly changes the fate of the galaxy in the finale of the “Mortis Gods” arc of The Clone Wars.
With the death of the Daughter in the prior episode, Anakin, Ahsoka, and Obi-Wan are prepared to return to the known galaxy. However, Anakin knows that if he doesn’t get the Father’s blessing, he’ll regret it. What follows is an attempt by the Son to sell Anakin on aligning with him one last time. In the process, Anakin experiences a vision of his future, and is prepared to take action to prevent it. The Father has a different idea to preserve the prophecy of the Chosen One.
