What we’re Enjoying
Jay found some very cool and inspirational movies. Australian film Seriously Red and 2013s The Pretty One are fun and entertaining, but also have great messages on self-image. Definitely worth checking out. Shua watched a recent Netflix series from Britain called Cunk on Earth. A very condensed (and ridiculous) history of our planet starring Diane Morgan giving her unique take on this hunk of rock we live on.
Sci-Fi Saturdays/MCU Location Scout
The Thirteenth Floor was a less well known sci-fi virtual reality flick than The Matrix, but there are some great aspects to it as well. Check it out on Sci-Fi Saturdays on Retrozap.com. Plus, stay tuned for one of the greatest animated stories of all time, The Iron Giant, coming this Saturday.

One way to make Valentine’s Day special for that someone you love is to plan a retro-movie-themed date. Last year we had some fun nights planned that surely led to life-long relationships. This year’s episode is more of a cautionary tale. We give you some great themes, with some warnings of what you should absolutely avoid (unless you’re trying to get rid of them)

Don’t. Just don’t do what’s about to happen here…

You may want to throw on one more article of clothing. Maybe a hat?

It may make a good breakfast, but you may want to rethink the date meal.
