Who doesn’t love a cuddly teddy bear? And a teddy bear is even better if it’s a Star Wars Build-A-Bear! This is a special part of my collection for a very special Christmas reason.
With the new Star Wars films coming out once a year recently, Build-A-Bear Workshop has capitalized on the films, and created a line of Star Wars stuffed animals. And boy are they adorable! The store has all kinds of bears (and other animals) for kids to choose from, and a wide variety of Star Wars themed outfits for said animals. They have Jedi, Sith, Chewbacca bears, Phasma bears, Boba Fett bears, Kylo Ren bears–the list goes on and on! And yes, they even have a porg!
So, why is my bear so special? My son was born January 2016. For is first Christmas, my brother went to a Build-A-Bear store and made him a Star Wars bear! The workshop employees had him choose a bear and outfit for it, stuff it and dance around with the bear in the store! All for a gift for his little nephew. It’s a special gift, and my son loves his bear. The bear is named Obi, after Obi-Wan Kenobi. It will forever be a special Christmas gift in our family. Maybe get a bear for someone special in your life too!
