Mariner competes with another ensign for leadership while Boimler tries to survive a mission to a Pakled mining facility.
The voyages of the U.S.S. Cerritos continue! The crew has been retained by the Collector’s Guild to help catalogue and dispose of the collection of a recently deceased collector. However, once Mariner, Tendi, and Rutherford, plus their new security officer, Lt. Kayshon, and a new ensign team member, Jet, begin sorting the collection, a security alert is tripped. Now they must fight for survival and escape.
Meanwhile, on the U.S.S. Titan, Captain Riker and his crew combat the Pakleds. Their next mission sees Boimler and other officers from the Titan infiltrating a Pakled mining facility to plant a tracker on a Pakled shuttle. But, Boimler doesn’t fit in well with his team. They are all about the action, and he prefers exploration. Can they put aside their differences and escape?
