When the Discovery investigates a subspace rift created by the DMA, they suddenly can’t find their way out. Michael Burnham and Zora work together to find an exit.
The Federation needs answers. The DMA continues to loom as a threat to all civilization in the known galaxy. Therefore, Starfleet sends Discovery to a subspace rift created by the DMA in the hopes they can discover where it came from. However, when they enter the rift, they are effectively blinded. They can’t see anything, they can’t detect anything on sensors, and they can’t find their way out. To make matters worse, the rift is closing in on them. Captain Michael Burnham and the crew must act quickly with the aid of Zora to save the ship, their lives, and deliver the clues they have found to Starfleet.
