Bill sits down with JB1127 to chat about Power Boxes, Watercolors, social media, and more!
Joe is out this week, so as a replacement Bill is joined by…another Joe! JB1127, star of super long weekly phone calls finally gets his time to shine on the newest episode of The Trade Federation podcast. The guys get started early, chatting about a decent run of new sets that Topps has been dropping. JB1127 is a big fan of basically every set that has been dropping since the introduction of Power Boxes, including the various Clone Wars sets that have inhabited that very box.

Saber Warriors and Emblematic are obvious standouts, while the Armory cards are beloved by some but viewed by many as a sort of booby prize for your power box purchase.
Outside of power boxes, both hosts agree that Watercolor has been a particular treat. Bill however continues his dogged pursuit of green posters with somewhat singular focus, not having the credits to splurge on anything that doesn’t help him reach his current goal of a full green poster set.
Before long the guys move on to the recent news from Topps that app producers will no longer have a social media presence. The announcement came from ToppsKat and has lead to a good deal of wondering about how the future quality of the app will go with seemingly nobody to directly ask about whether something is broken or working as intended. While the pull back from Twitter is understandable in light of the amount of nonsense that gets directed at the producers, many players are left feeling like they no longer have a voice to help get issues resolved and make the app as good as it has the potential to be. Time well tell if the remaining Topps Twitter accounts will be able to handle all of the issues as they appear. We wish them luck!
All that plus listener voicemails and the weekly poll on the latest Trade Federation!
