Show Synopsis
General Urko has been relieved of his military duties because of his recent negligence involving his leadership and the failed attempts at capturing Blue Eyes and his friends. With their main adversary out of the way, Cornelius and Zira plan to take this opportunity in telling the senate about how humans were not always subservient to apes and their original place on the planet. Lots of questions to be answered. Will they believe these two trusted chimpanzees? What will be Urko’s fate? Will there be a cliff-hanger that will leave us dangling for 42 years?
Mark and Richard also discuss the short story from Planet of the Apes: Tales from the Forbidden Zone titled, ‘Who is this Man? What Sort of Devil Is He?’ by Robert Greenberger. This story takes place right after the fan-favorite episode from the live-action TV series, ‘The Trap’, and forces Urko into a deep discussion with his son. About the humans. Since they just saved Urko from the collapsed subway station, are they really the enemy?
With Battle of the Titans as the last episode in the animated TV series, what will be the future for Talking Apes TV? Tune in, find out and GO APE!
