The Purge: Election Year was a film I had on my list from last year that did not make the cut. It still seems like a timely film, and I’m interested to see how it holds up given the political climate in America.
31 Days of Horror
According to the trailer for The Hills Have Eyes, this film will be the most shocking and terrifying film I’ll ever seen. I’ll be the judge of that!
Today I move to a more modern film which I not heard about until recently, while discussing this project with a co-worker. I like to find a balance of horror film types while doing this blog, picking films that I’ve not seen in the past couple years, or never at all. Also I like to pick films from different eras, and genres to explore the history of horror in a way.
Welcome to the 2018 screenings of 31 Days of Horror. I’m going to open this years marathon with a classic Stephen King adaptation, which I have never seen up to this point, and then continue through 31 days of horror films. Some are new, some are old, some I’ve seen before, many I haven’t. Join me if you dare!
