Welcome to episode 37 of Starships, Sabers, and Scoundrels: That’s So Wizard. Recent Star Wars News
After a brief discussion of Star Wars: Blips, the show turns to the news. The first item for discussion is the latest trailer for season four of Rebels. Dennis, Jay, and Taxus discuss the things that stood out plus what they are looking forward to most in the final season of Rebels. In addition, the Han Solo standalone film have a new cast member (hint: it is an Avenging personality). Plus, Star Wars: Forces of Destiny made some announcements regarding additions to the cast. Finally, in the biggest news of the week, the discussion turns to a discussion of a director opening for Episode IX.
That’s So Wizard!
Starships, Sabers, and Scoundrels is excited for the debut of Jay’s new segment: “That’s So Wizard!” In this monthly segment, Jay highlights new, interesting, and exciting lifestyle and fashion products inspired by the Star Wars galaxy. Some of the products in this month’s segment include:
- Lounge Fly BB-93 dome purse on Box Lunch,
- The Last Jedi range of bags on The Kessel Runway,
- A men’s Porg necktie from Entertainment Earth, and
- The Last Jedi footwear form Po-Zu.
Hyperthetical: Force Friday II
The merchandise extravaganza that is Force Friday II came and went. Although Dennis, Taxus, and Jay didn’t have any great shopping adventures, they each made discoveries during the now annual Star Wars shopping tradition. In this week’s Hyperthetical, they discuss things they found and details related to The Last Jedi they learned.
Silence Fools!
Finally, no episode of Starships, Sabers, and Scoundrels is complete without some listener feedback in “Silence Fools!” In this edition, there is Force Friday feedback, Jay’s “promotion” to host response, and t-shirt requests.
