Star Wars: Forces of Destiny
Itching for more Star Wars? Can’t wait until December? Have no fear, the highly anticipated animated series Star Wars: Forces of Destiny arrives July 3! The series will focus on the awesome, fearless ladies of Star Wars. It will feature the voices of actresses Daisy Ridley, Felicity Jones, Ashley Eckstein, Lupita Nyong’o and Tiya Sicar. Check out the new trailer here. The series debuts on Netfilx July 3 at YouTube.com/Disney, and then will show a new short every day (10a.m. PST). The TV broadcast will be July 9 on the Disney Channel. This show looks to be amazing!
Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle
We’ve got fun and games….oh, wait. The official trailer for Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle has landed. The concept is a bit different from the 1995 film with Robin Williams. This time the kids are sucked into the jungle via video game, with each in the role of player from the game. The kids aren’t themselves though, they’re the video game avatars. The film features Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, and Karen Gillan. Only time will tell if it will be as good as the original. Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle hits theaters December 20.
Inhumans
The first trailer for the new ABC television series Inhumans has dropped! The show is based on the Marvel comic series, and features a superhuman royal family who fights intergalactic wars and secretly live on Earth. The trailer is intriguing, but seems to lack some of the gritty Marvel special touch. It does feature a teleporting dog however. Inhumans premieres September 29.
