Happy Valentine’s Day! We are celebrating the holiday of love with a discussion of a classic novel from Star Wars Legends: The Courtship of Princess Leia. This novel by Dave Wolverton was an early addition to the Legends continuity and shaped Star Wars storytelling for years to come. Even though it is no longer part of the Star Wars canon, it has still had an influence on Star Wars storytelling. In this episode, we’ll discuss our favorite moments of this book, how it set up other stories, the influence it has on The Clone Wars, and how it compares to The Princess and the Scoundrel.
