Admiral Piett, the Emperor’s Royal Guard, a captured scout trooper, an X-Wing pilot, and Commander Wedge Antilles feature in this collection of stories from A Certain Point of View.
We are looking at another batch of stories from From a Certain Point of View: Return of the Jedi. First, Admiral Piett reflects on his humble beginnings and his rise to power just before his demise in “To the Last” by Dana Schwartz. Elsewhere, the Emperor’s Royal Guard have their faith shaken when the Emperor is defeated in Gloria Chao’s “The Emperor’s Red Guards.” In “Wolf Trap” by Alyssa Wong, a scout trooper thinks back to a lost friend while captured by the Ewoks. An X-wing pilot fights in the Battle of Endor in the hopes of surviving to express her feelings to a comrade in M.K. England’s “The Extra Five Percent.” Finally, Emma Mieko Candon describes Wedge Antille’s frustrations and stress in “When Fire Marked the Sky.”
