Following in the footsteps of A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back, a collection of short stories celebrating the 40th anniversary of Return of the Jedi recently hit bookshelves. From a Certain Point of View: Return of the Jedi retells the movie through the viewpoints of side and secondary characters. In this episode of Podcast Stardust, we begin our review of this collection by diving into the first five stories. From Moff Jerjerrod trying to get the Death Star back on schedule under the imposing presence of Darth Vader to an entertainer attempting to cope with life in Jabba’s palace, these stories present a wide variety of experiences. It is a fun collection, join us as we dive into them all.

In this fully armed and operational episode, we discuss:

  • “Any Work Worth Doing” by Amal El-Mohtar about Moff Jerjerrod,
  • “Fancy Many” by Phil Szostak about Max Rebo,
  • “The Key to Remembering” by Olivia Chadha about EV-9D9,
