While Star Wars audiences are learning of Cassian’s back story on Disney+ with Andor, we explore the story of how Cassian met K-2SO.
Not long after Rogue One debuted in theaters, Marvel and other publishers released tie-in material that expanded on the histories of the characters of the movie. One such example is Cassian & K-2SO. This one-shot comic explains how Cassian Andor met his sidekick, the former K-X series droid, K-2SO on a mission to recover Imperial protocols. With Andor as the current live action series airing on Disney+, we thought now was a great time to review this part of Cassian’s backstory.
In this fully armed and operational episode, we discuss:
- Cassian’s allies, Kertas and Rismor, and what makes them a unique species,
- Cassian, Kertas, and Rismor’s mission to Wecacoe,
- How Cassian first met K-2SO and his attempts to reprogram him,
