Obi-Wan Kenobi makes his report to the Jedi Council, Padmé makes a risky decision, and Count Dooku makes his case to Obi-Wan.
Anakin has found his mother just in time to lose her. In his anger, he slaughtered a village full of Tuskens. Now, he returns to the Lars homestead and shares the truth of what he has done with Padmé. Shmi’s funeral is interrupted by Obi-Wan’s report to the Jedi council and his capture by Count Dooku and the Geonosians. In this entry into our year-long discussion of Attack of the Clones for its 20th anniversary, we examine Anakin’s anger and confession to Padmé.
