We review and discuss Adam Christopher’s Shadow of the Sith and Lando and Luke Skywalker’s prequel adventure to The Rise of Skywalker.
Star Wars fans now know that Rey was the granddaughter of Darth Sidious. This revelation was made during The Rise of Skywalker. Furthermore, Star Wars fans know that Ochi of Bestoon murdered Rey’s parents and that Luke and Lando attempted to track him down. However, the details of that story were left to the imagination of the reader. Until now. Adam Christopher tells the story of Rey and her family’s flight from Jaaku as Ochi and the Sith Eternal attempt to track her down. While Lando searches for his abducted daughter, he stumbles into Ochi’s pursuit, and he recruits Luke to aid him in rescuing this unknown child and her family. Meanwhile, Luke feels a dark presence in the Force, and it might just have something to do with Ochi and Exogol.
