The Jedi determine how to protect Padmé and find the bounty hunter stalking her. Also, Anakin’s two mentors have different opinions on his abilities.
After Zam Wessel’s attack on Senator Amidala, the Jedi begin to plan how to respond. They decide Padmé should return to Naboo, and Anakin should perform as her bodyguard. Meanwhile, Obi-Wan Kenobi will track down the bounty hunter that made the attempt on her life. Naturally, Padmé dislikes this plan, but is persuaded by Chancellor Palpatine to go along. This segment of Attack of the Clones also features a juxtaposition of Anakin’s two mentors.
