Podcast Stardust #143: Rebels – Call to Action – 0113

by Podcast Stardust

Grand Moff Tarkin arrives on Lothal with a plan: capture Kanan and destroy the Rebels. The crew of the Ghost have a plan of their own though.

The Empire is done messing around. Again. This time they send Grand Moff Tarkin to Lothal to take care of the threat posed by the rogue Jedi Knight and his band of Rebels. Tarkin wastes no time dressing down Minister Tua, Agent Kallus, and the Grand Inquisitor before getting to work. Meanwhile, Kanan has plans of his own to get the message of the Rebellion out to the galaxy. These plans intersect and sacrifices must be made.

In this fully armed and operational episode, we discuss:

  • Grand Moff Tarkin’s arrival and statements on the Jedi,
  • Kanan’s plan to get the Rebels’ message out to the galaxy,
  • The appearance of Alton Kastle,
  • Ezra’s misgivings and fear of carrying out this mission,
  • The trap Tarkin set for Kanan and the Rebels,
  • Sabine’s assault on the Imperial communications tower, and
  • Kanan’s decision to send the rest of the crew on without him
