Bill focuses his lens on the co-pilots of the Millennium Falcon – Black Series Han Solo and Chewbacca.
Never tell them the odds! Bill showcases two iconic characters–Black Series Han Solo and Chewbacca–and reviews the figure sculpts below.
Black Series Han Solo and Chewbacca
“I can understand Greedo being a peg-warmer, as he had about 90 seconds of screen time, but Han Solo? Come on! I found the Hasbro 6” Black Series Han Solo for $7.50 on clearance at the Disney Store about a year ago. If Greedo was under-accessorized, then Han might be over-accessorized: extra (gloved) hands, stormtrooper belt, stormtrooper blaster, regular blaster, removable belt, and removable vest. Otherwise, this is a very good action figure. Chewbacca is massive, super tall, heavy, awesome. Chewie would likely be my favorite figure if not for a few issues: his eyes are completely crossed and he’s so heavy that his ankle joints sometimes rock under the weight.”
Born in 1976, Bill Drewnowski grew up surrounded by Star Wars, the likely reason for his love of a great story. Now a father living in New England, Bill teaches high school English, including courses in science fiction and fantasy. Bill enjoys collecting books, posters, action figures, trading cards (including a huge Magic the Gathering obsession), and of course all things Star Wars. His favorite book is Moby Dick by Herman Melville. You can follow Bill on Twitter @DorkLair and Instagram @TheDorkLair.
