In every MCU appearance, the Avengers facility grows ever larger suiting the needs of the film. The Avengers Headquarters in Avengers: Endgame marks the fourth building that has stood in for the iconic teams home base.
LOCATION: Avengers Headquarters (SANY America, 318 Cooper Cir N, Peachtree City, GA)
SHOW: Avengers: Endgame
In 2012, the Avengers operated out of Tony Stark’s tower in Manhattan, a digitally crafted skyscraper that stands at 200 Park Ave. in New York City. Flash forward to Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), when the exteriors of the Sainsburys Centre for Visual Arts marked the first building seen at the upstate New York facility. That was soon followed by the addition of The Porsche Experience building in Atlanta as seen in Captain America: Civil War and Spider-Man: Homecoming. Interiors of the facility have been filmed at The Porsche Experience as well as the London’s ExCel World Exhibition Hall.
Now with Avengers: Endgame, the filmmakers have used yet another building to portray the superhero headquarters. The SANY America building was used for exteriors and interiors of the Avengers facility. This company builds excavators, forklifts and other large scale construction equipment. The warehouse portion of the building was used for the interiors where the Avengers set up their quantum tunnel machine, while the front drive and doorway was used for exterior shots of Tony and Steve. The modern style of the building is extremely similar to the previous filming locations, so much so that the SANY location could easily be mistaken for the Porsche Experience building.
The destruction of the Avengers compound was of course, not shot at this location, but utilized special effects and soundstages to recreate the rubble from Thanos’ destruction.
