Day 3 Prompt: Bulky
There are many things in The Mandalorian series that could represent today’s prompt. The blurgs are bulky little creatures. With his sizable beskar armor, Heavy Mando could fit that role. Even the title character’s new armor seems bulky especially with the new jetpack added to his arsenal. But to me, nothing screams “bulky” more than the mudhorn.
In the second chapter of the Disney+ series, The Mandalorian reluctantly goes on a quest on behalf of the Jawas to retrieve the egg from the mythical beast. Obviously, the mudhorn is not willing to let her precious egg leave her den and the Mandalorian soon takes the brunt of her wrath.
A Different Approach
For today’s prompt, since this chapter had so many magical scenes, I decided to approach this drawing with a little more whimsy. A cartoon style seemed appropriate.
The Bulky Mudhorn
On to Day 4.
Kendall Schroeder saw the original Star Wars in a small theater in the summer of his 10th birthday and immediately fell in love with the Far Away Galaxy. Pretending to be either Jedi Luke Skywalker or Colonel Steve Austin, the Six Million Dollar Man, Kendall always believed he had special powers. Maybe that’s why he truly believes there is good in all people. And, he will stop at nothing to help rid the world of evil. When Kendall is not creating art, he is leading educators as the head of an online school. Kendall lives in West Michigan with his wife and two kids.
