Inktober Day 21 Prompt: Sleep
Depicting “sleep” in the Star Wars galaxy is difficult, unless one considers the words of Yoda in Return of the Jedi.
Soon will I rest, yes, forever sleep.
And, in The Mandalorian, with so much action, characters are not shown sleeping at all. However, there is one scene in Chapter 1 where the Mythrol Mando has just captured tries to escape and finds himself face to face with several species “asleep” in carbonite. The Razor Crest’s portable carbon freezing chamber comes in handy as the Mandalorian secures his bounty.
Sleeping Rhodian
I’m not sure who this Rhodian is, but there was a brief glimpse of him/her as the Mythrol wades through the frozen carbonite blocks.
Kendall Schroeder saw the original Star Wars in a small theater in the summer of his 10th birthday and immediately fell in love with the Far Away Galaxy. Pretending to be either Jedi Luke Skywalker or Colonel Steve Austin, the Six Million Dollar Man, Kendall always believed he had special powers. Maybe that’s why he truly believes there is good in all people. And, he will stop at nothing to help rid the world of evil. When Kendall is not creating art, he is leading educators as the head of an online school. Kendall lives in West Michigan with his wife and two kids.
